This is an event I’m producing at the church for our youth.

We are being bombarded by images of perfection, of greed, filth, sex, lies, money and drama. It may not affect the adults as much as it affects our children and that is why I was moved to produce this event.

I hope that it touches someone. That’s all I can ask for. I’ve got a great line up of performers and I hope that this will bring our church family together. Let’s pray it does.

i need more of your music in single ladies! i hope you got another placement for season 2! i was looking to see who to contact to request your songs in the show but i don't know who. i found lajune grant on twitter (@iamlajune) she's the assistant to the vp of music on vh1 so maybe you could submit your songs to her i don't know but your voice brought life to that scene last season, it was amazing! you should write a song just for the show's soundtrack.

I am believing this more and more. God gives us gifts for a reason. He gives us EVERYTHING we NEED, and could WANT. So, some of the things that I LOVE to do, even when PEOPLE don’t believe in you and the things that you BELIEVE you are capable of, God is there at all times!

I think that one of the biggest reason why relationships do not work out in the long run is because at one point, one side (or both) stops trying. Before one claims another person as their significant other, they would do anything to make that person happy. They would chase, they would flirt, they would be charming. They would send daily morning and goodnight texts every time you wake up or go to sleep. They would write corny messages and pick up lines just to make sure that there is a smile upon your face. But once they claim you as theirs, all of those things eventually stop. The 5 page texts slowly turn into 1. The constant calls turn into not calling at all. And the lovely endearments turn into daily arguments. In order for a relationship to work, don’t ever stop chasing. Just because the person you want is now consider “yours”, it does not mean they deserve anything less than the time when you’re trying to win them over.

I promise to never stop trying, Kaitlin.

I love this… and will not stop trying because I’ve chosen to love you.
