We are too focused
too focused, a majority of the time on the artist and not the art. Why do we give people who don’t make art, artists? Yes, art is subjective, but for the most part, we all know what’s art and what’s not. I’m not evening going as far as saying “good” art and “bad” art, because again, art is subjective. But I believe there are some things that we have to keep in mind when we are calling artists artists who are making “art”.
