Food
I have a love/hate relationship with it.
I know what it’s supposed to do for my body.
But I’ve grown up in an American that’s all about processed, mass amounts of food.
But today, Right at this moment, I’m realizing the joy in fresh food.
I’m basking in my feeling of satisfaction from my lunch of nothing processed, just natural filling, whole grain food.
Brown rice, shrimp, garlic, onion, broccoli and orange zest.
DELICIOUS!
Though, I love desserts and chocolate, I want to work on only eating non-processed food, including desserts. You feel so good afterwards. I’ve known this, but this new diet is really making me aware. I love to cook, and I don’t want a love/hate relationship. I want to bake bread, grown veggies, buy no growth hormone meat and fresh fish. It’s gonna be a journey, but that’s what I want. I want to season with herbs and spices, not just sugar and salt.
So, we will see where this whole thing takes me. I’m excited, again, it’s gonna be hard, but it’ll work out.
