I’m trying to take care of the family who have supported all my dreams
Who worked more than 3 jobs to put my brother and I through college, and my brother through grad school
I’m trying to make their sacrifices our successes
We were always told to get an education to be a contributing member to society
Now those with the least education and/or the most connections are getting the work
Now we are all suffering
All I want to do is help my parents live comfortably, instead of being a part of this new class of people who used to be Middle Class
I guess that’s what the wealthy want
No middle class
More slaves to do their dirty work
More indentured servitude to give them the lives they’ve dreamed of
My education has put me in debt and now I can’t even get a part-time job
I’m tired
But will never stop fighting
I am the 99 %
